  1. have you read the fallen series by Lauren Kate? They may have that slight childish edge like twilight or the house of night books, but I found them captivating :) would love to know what you think and if you recommend any particular books you've read that are like them?

  2. Oh my gosh! I read Fallen and LOVED it! When I read it, though, it was the only book out. So, I have yet to read any of the other books in the series. To be honest, I had completely forgotten about them, so thank you so much for reminding me!

There are so many great series books that I would consider in that category that I just love. The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare is one of my faves. It's a trilogy. If you haven't already read it, I highly suggest that you do! I list some other series as well: Rachel Morgan/The Hollows by Kim Harrison, Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris, Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine, Mercedes Thompson by Patricia Briggs, Outcast Season by Rachel Caine, Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, Harper Connelly by Charlaine Harris, there are more, but these are the only ones I could think of off the top of my head that I really enjoyed!

Hope you find a great series to read, and thank you for posting!

I would love to read any comments that you might have! Thank you!
